Inside the Studio: Building the In-Studio Platform + A New Mural in Brooklyn

At Gianni Lee Studio, community means everything. For me, it’s never just about selling great products—it’s about storytelling. It’s about sharing my journey as an artist: the work I create, the places I travel, and the people and communities I connect with along the way.

The Instagram 24-Hour Mural Project

One of the first projects I’ve documented through In-Studio is my recent collaboration with Instagram. In July 2025, I had the extraordinary opportunity to paint a one-night-only mural inside Brooklyn’s historic Domino Sugar Refinery for Instagram’s campaign launch party.

This was more than just a mural—it was an experience. From the very first sketches to the final reveal, the night captured everything I love about art: creativity, community, and the energy of sharing something new with the world.

I put together a video that takes you behind the scenes of that night—showing the process, the atmosphere, and the grand reveal in full.

Introducing the In-Studio Platform

That desire to share more led me to create In-Studio. Some of you may have already heard of it—it’s my attempt to bring the vibes of the studio directly to collectors and supporters everywhere.

Think of In-Studio as more than just a channel. It’s a platform. From YouTube content to live events, podcasts, and symposiums, the goal is to build a space that feels immersive and ever-expanding. It’s a way of pulling back the curtain so you can see not just the finished work, but the process, the conversations, and the stories that shape it all.
