The Modular ONE is the debut release in my modular sneaker series—a fusion of fine art, functional design, and technical craft. Conceived as a luxury, design-forward sneaker, the Modular ONE pushes beyond traditional footwear by embracing customization, modular components, and a sculptural silhouette that shifts with the wearer.
Originally developed in collaboration with Garrixon Studios (Philadelphia), the shoe brings together artisan handwork, premium materials, and a disruptive design philosophy centered around versatility.
Design Ethos & Inspiration
The Modular ONE draws influence from designers who redefined what sneakers could be—most notably Tinker Hatfield and Pharrell Williams—figures whose work blends culture, technology, and storytelling.
The shoe’s base color layout intentionally mirrors the iconic structure of the Air Jordan 11:

This approach ensures the Modular ONE remains both highly stylized and easy to integrate into everyday fits—never too “art-only,” always wearable.
Modular Design
Each pair includes yellow and beige removable shrouds and detachable back pockets, crafted from durable nylon Taslan and padded with recycled oyster shell batting. These components snap on and off, letting you instantly alter the sneaker’s shape, mood, and profile.
This modularity isn’t just decorative—it’s central to the shoe’s philosophy:
